AO-Method training cohort

Transform Your Organization in 3 Intensive Days

Stop collecting slides. Start solving your real organizational challenges.

Work on What Matters — Your Actual Cases

Forget textbook exercises. The AO Method Training Cohort involves 8 to 12 practitioners and leaders. They bring their stuck transformations, unclear decision processes, and real organizational problems. They leave with concrete solutions.

In just 3 days, you’ll design adaptive structures. You’ll clarify decision rights. You’ll navigate the human dynamics that make or break change. Everything you learn gets applied to your challenge, coached in real-time.

What You’ll Master

Design Organizations That Adapt

Move beyond rigid hierarchies. Learn to design complex adaptive systems where structure enables speed, clarity, and resilience. You’ll map value streams, clarify accountability, and apply the Viable Systems Model to your context.

Build Decision Architectures That Scale

Make implicit patterns explicit. Distribute authority so the right people decide at the right level — without bottlenecks. Design governance that balances autonomy with alignment.

Navigate the Human Side of Change

Resistance isn’t the enemy — it’s information. Learn why it emerges, how to create psychological safety during uncertainty, and which leadership behaviors actually enable transformation. Leave equipped to facilitate the difficult conversations about power and structure.

How the 3 Days Work

Day 1 — Diagnose the System
Map your current organizational structure, decision flows, and constraints. Identify leverage points.

Day 2 — Redesign for Adaptation
Apply AO Method design principles. Build decision architectures. Prototype new structures.

Day 3 — Make It Real
Navigate human dynamics. Design your implementation Roadmap. Get coached on next steps.

Throughout, you alternate between short expert inputs and structured exercises. You also engage in guided work on your case. You receive live feedback from Pierre Neis, the creator of the AO Method, and your cohort peers.

This is not a lecture.

It’s facilitated design work, peer consultation, and real-time coaching on what you’re actually facing.
