Mastering Agile Coaching: Skills for the Future

Agile coaching is a systemic coaching evolution for teams and organization to become more responsive in turbulent times.

What we call Agile is the nature of the interactions of people in a system called a team or organization.

Three areas of agile coaching

Agile coaching is guiding from traditional models to a more synergy-based network. This helps individuals and organizations thrive and survive in a global VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) world.

The “Agile Coaching Training and Certification” is a training program that teaches the skills needed for:

  • Agile Coaching of Organizations, Individuals, and Teams.
  • Ensuring an understanding of coaching ethics and the code of conduct set out by the International Coaches Federation.
  • Supporting Coaches working with their clients

The program is based on the AO, an agile organization program created by Pierre E. Neis.

Agile Coaching is a competency that bridges mentoring, consultancy, and coaching.

The CAC program was developed 10 years ago. Its purpose is to educate professional leaders, managers, and agile coaches. The program covers not only the theory but also hands-on practices.

The full training program consists of five levels of certification. The first level is CAC1 Agile Coach, which covers the fundamentals. The second level is CAC2 Agile Coach Professional, aimed at Agile Managers. The third level, CAC3, is for Enterprise Coaches focusing on leadership. The fourth level is CAC4 Agile Supervision Coaching. The fifth and final level is CAC5, which is for Educators.
